  • Ottawa Valley Veterinary Professional Corporation, a 3-clinic practice, where Dr. Andrew Sparling, Dr. Currie and Dr. Janice Scott take care of our rescued dogs:
    • Dr. Janice, who has generously donated her time to THDR to care for our dogs since 2000, along with seven other staff members or friends, are the "Paws for Cause" team walking in the Weekend to end Breast Cancer" fundraiser walk that will benefit the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation on June 1-3, 2007. To help raise funds for the team, staff at the clinic will clip your dog's nails for $10.00. The $10.00 will be donated to Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.  If you'd like to support Dr. Janice as she walks in memory of her Dad who died of cancer earlier this year, contact the clinic to find out when you can have your dog's nails clipped or you can make an online donation.
Rescue is never easy. If you have a chance to patronize those who help us help the dogs, we'd appreciate it. Their help makes a difference in the lives of each dog THDR helps.
