The Trinity and our Hopes
About Donations
Equipment Wish List
DESPARATELY NEED 48" x-pens and 54" crates
We know that we cannot save them all. The ones we help come from local
shelters (our first priority) and from owner surrenders (surrender fee
required). We fund each dog we rescue from the donation received for previous
dog we placed. We never seem to have enough funds leftover to purchase
the equipment we'd like to provide to each foster home. We welcome donations
of the following items:
-
gently used bedding (sleeping bags, duvets, quilted bedspreads, sheets,
towels, dog beds, crate mats)
-
crib bumpers
-
baby buntings
-
fabric (prefer cotton that measures either 30: x 50" or 38" x 24")
-
sturdy toys (especially Kongs and Nylabones)
-
leashes, collars, harnesses, haltis, gentle leaders, promise collars, Flexi
leads, training leads (15 ft. etc.)
-
stainless-steel food dishes, coop cups, d stainless-steel buckets
-
dog shampoo and grooming tools
-
crates (desperately seeking a 54" wire crate at this time), portable dog
runs (must be 6 ft. high), and x-pens (preferably 48" ones, but we'll accept
others)
-
Bell long-distance calling cards, Canadian Tire money, heartworm prevention
pills (Interceptor or Heartguard), and topical flea products (Advantage,
Frontline, etc.) are always put to excellent use.
We would also welcome chain-link fencing (preferably 6 ft., but will accept
5 ft.) that is still in good conidtion so that we could install separate
exercise areas at our foster homes for the foster dogs. Those items that
we cannot use, we give to other rescue groups or to the other animal welfare
organizations.

costs associated with providing temporary shelter and obedience training to our
dogs. You may send a money order or cheque (please do not send cash) using our

Donate Toys in time for Christmas
If you would like to donate a Toy Pack to Trinity Of Hope Dog Rescue from
dogtoys.com, our foster dogs would love the
Toy
Pack for Giants. Our shipping address is P.O. Box 273, Richmond, ON

Donate Aeroplane Points on Air Canada
If you have more frequent flyer points than you can use, we sometimes are
desparate to transport a dog from one location to another. The easiest
way to fly a dog is to have an escort. It takes 20,000 to 25,000 air mile
points to fly roundtrip in North America. If you or your company would
like to be contacted should we need a ticket for an escort to get a dog
into rescue, please contact admin@TrinityOfHope.on.ca
Professional Services Sought
We are on our way to filing to become a registered charity in Canada. Thank you
to the James, our legal beagle for helping us to make this dream a reality.
Training Support
We are happy for the support that we receive from a number of area training
facilities. If you are looking for a training facility for your dog in the
Ottawa area, three of our favourite training facilities are:
- Shake-a-Paw (email:
shakeapaw@on.aibn.com) Dog Training
Facility (web site : www.dogtraining.ca),

Trainers and Thousands Island Kennel and Obedience Club (TIKO). In addition to
offering obedience classes, agility and canine freestyle, Paola and her team
of instructors also provide behaviour problem solutions, private in-home or
at-school consultations. "A Trained Dog is a Manageable Dog." Paola Hoger.

classes, agility and other other classes, Cheryl and her team of instructors
offer private in-home or at-school consultations for dogs with special
training requirements.

obedience classes, CaroLark hosts a number of seminars each year and has a
number of books and videos available for purchase by the public.
We'd appreciate that you'd show your support of rescue by considering a
facility that shows their support of rescue. If you have professional services
you'd like to offer to assist our organization, we'd love to hear from you
